Improving Performance Measurement for Geospatial Programs

Through the Geospatial Maturity Index (GMI), PSD gathered data and insights from more than 146 public sector organizations on their GIS program structure, processes, challenges and achievements. In 2018, PSD published the inaugural GMI Report, naming Canada's Top 25 GIS programs. The first GMI webinar focused on GIS Readiness, exploring geospatial teams and management. The second GMI webinar focused on GIS Implementation, which detailed how survey respondents utilize GIS data and technology. This third and final GMI webinar is focused on GIS Impact, detailing the extent to which organizations communicate the outcomes of the GIS initiatives and garner interdepartmental buy-in.
