Job Summary 
The Software Implementation Consultant is a role in which you will manage the implementation of PSD financial budgeting software applications (FMW Web). Our market is predominantly municipalities with expansion occurring throughout the public sector. The successful candidate will work directly with our clients assisting in defining their requirements and identifying their business objectives. The candidate must possess logical problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly understand business problems and communicate solutions to the client while adhering to project deliverables and schedules. 


The succesful candidates will be required to:

  • Identify and solve problems utilizing analysis, experience and decision making
  • Successfully manage multiple implementations by communicating with clients and ensuring that timelines are being met
  • Utilize PSD project tracking tools to detail implementation progress, client feedback and outstanding issues
  • Escalate client issues to appropriate team members to ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner
  • Meet or exceed project implementation, productivity and client satisfaction metrics
  • Develop detailed specifications and prototypes for client review and approval and develop the skills necessary to be able to deliver client-specific training programs during project implementations
  • Be aware of and comply with PSD corporate policies


Minimum Requirements 
  • Previous experience in a role that involved implementing, administering or supporting municipal financial software systems is preferred
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster internal/external relationships and resolve issues
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts quickly and work hands-on within our team environment
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to constantly upgrade skills through continuous learning
  • Excellent organization, planning and project management skill sets
  • Professional manner and able to work collaboratively with clients
  • Consulting experience in a client-facing, software solution delivery environment would be an asset
  • CPA designation, and/or degree in Accounting highly desired
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable discussing financial concepts at multiple levels of seniority within client organizations



Travel to client locations within Canada and the United States. Expected travel 10-30%.
